M Chef 2-Star Certification Graded Checklist Questionnaire

 

 

 

STEP 3: Graded Checklist Questionnaire #1-7

In Step 3 of the M Chef 2-Star Certification, you will complete the Graded Checklist Questionnaire, answering Yes or No to the following questions on the following page.

Total Points Required: You must have at least 9 points of 12 available points to be eligible for the M Chef 2-Star Certification.



Question 1. Chef Experience - Sous Chef - 1 Point

 

You have worked as a Sous Chef or second in command of a brigade for at least 2 years, or more.

Points for M Chef 2-Star Certification: 1 Point

Total Points Required: You must have at least 9 points of 12 available points to be eligible for the
M Chef 2-Star Certification

 


 

Question 2. Cooking Experience - CDC - 2 Points

You have worked as a CDC (Chef de Cuisine) for at least two (2) years or more.

Points for M Chef 2-Star Certification: 2 Points

Total Points Required: You must have at least 9 points of 12 available points to be eligible for the M Chef 2-Star Certification.
 

 


 

Question 3. Chef - Years - Ten (10) Years - 2 Points

You have worked as a professional chef for a minimum of ten (10) years. This time frame can include time as a rep firm chef.

Points for M Chef 2-Star Certification: 2 Points

Total Points Required: You must have at least 9 points of 12 available points to be eligible for the M Chef 2-Star Certification.

 



Question 4. Chef Management Experience - 2 Points

You have managed a team of at least ten (10) or more, with references and roles provided.

Points for M Chef 2-Star Certification: 2 Points

Total Points Required: You must have at least 9 points of 12 available points to be eligible for the M Chef 2-Star Certification.
 


 

Question 5. Industry Experience - Rep Firm Chef for 48 Months - 2 Points

You have worked as a Rep Chef at a Rep Firm for at least 48 months.

Points for M Chef 2-Star Certification: 2 Points

Total Points Required: You must have at least 9 points of 12 available points to be eligible for the M Chef 2-Star Certification.


 


 

Question 6. Professional Culinary - 2 Points

You hold a Professional Culinary Degree or Certificate.

Points for M Chef 2-Star Certification: 2 Points

Total Points Required: You must have at least 9 points of 12 available points to be eligible for the M Chef 2-Star Certification.


Question 7. Trade Shows - 2 NAFEM - 4 NRA - 1 Point

You have attended at least two (2) NAFEM or four (4) NRA Shows, or a combination of the two.

Points for M Chef 2-Star Certification: 1 Point

Total Points Required: You must have at least 9 points of 12 available points to be eligible for the M Chef 2-Star Certification.
