M Chef 3-Star Certification Graded Checklist Questionnaire

 

 

 

STEP 3: Graded Checklist Questionnaire #1-7

In Step 3 of the M Chef 3-Star Certification, you will complete the Graded Checklist Questionnaire, answering Yes or No to the following questions on the following page.

Total Points Required: You must have at least 11 points of 14 available points to be eligible for the M Chef 3-Star Certification.



Question 1. Chef Experience - Executive Chef - 3 Points

 

You have worked as an Executive Chef, experience including managing a culinary operation for at least 2 years, or more.

Points for M Chef 3-Star Certification: 3 Points

Total Points Required: You must have at least 11 points of 14 available points to be eligible for the M Chef 3-Star Certification

 


 

Question 2. Cooking Experience - 2 Points

You have cooked and managed the cooking for over 500 people in one sitting, with a description provided.

Points for M Chef 3-Star Certification: 2 Points

Total Points Required: You must have at least 11 points of 14 available points to be eligible for the M Chef 3-Star Certification.
 

 


 

Question 3. Chef - Years - 2 Points

You have worked as a professional chef for a minimum of twenty (20) years. This time frame can include time as a rep firm chef.

Points for M Chef 3-Star Certification: 2 Points

Total Points Required: You must have at least 11 points of 14 available points to be eligible for the M Chef 3-Star Certification.

 



Question 4. Chef Management Experience - 2 Points

You have managed a team of at least twenty (20) or more, with references and roles provided.

Points for M Chef 3-Star Certification: 2 Points

Total Points Required: You must have at least 11 points of 14 available points to be eligible for the M Chef 3-Star Certification.
 


 

Question 5. Industry Experience - Rep Firm Chef for 10 Years - 2 Points

You have worked as a Rep Chef at a Rep Firm for at least 10 years.

Points for M Chef 3-Star Certification: 2 Points

Total Points Required: You must have at least 11 points of 14 available points to be eligible for the M Chef 3-Star Certification.


 


 

Question 6. Professional Degree - 2 Points

You hold a Bachelors degree or higher Food Science or Food Studies.

Points for M Chef 3-Star Certification: 2 Points

Total Points Required: You must have at least 11 points of 14 available points to be eligible for the M Chef 3-Star Certification.


Question 7. Sommelier - 1 Point

You have completed wine training Level 1 Sommelier or equivalent.

Points for M Chef 3-Star Certification: 1 Point

Total Points Required: You must have at least 11 points of 14 available points to be eligible for the M Chef 3-Star Certification.
