M Chef 1-Star Certification Graded Checklist Questionnaire

 

 

 

STEP 3: Graded Checklist Questionnaire #1-6

In Step 3 of the M Chef 1-Star Certification, you will complete the Graded Checklist Questionnaire, answering Yes or No to the following questions on the following page.

Total Points Required: You must have at least 6 points of 9 available points to be eligible for the M Chef 1-Star Certification.

Question 1. Chef Experience - Chef De Partie - 2 Points

You have worked as a Chef De Partie, running a station in a restaurant or hotel, and were responsible for the station's performance for at least 5 years.

Points for M Chef 1-Star Certification: 1 Point

Total Points Required: You must have at least 6 points of 9 available points to be eligible for the
M Chef 1-Star Certification

Question 2. Chef Management Experience - Team of Three (3) - 1 Point

You have managed a team of at least three (3) or more.

Points for M Chef 1-Star Certification: 1 Point

Total Points Required: You must have at least 6 points of 9 available points to be eligible for the M Chef 1-Star Certification.
 

Question 3. Certification - CFSP - 2 Points

You hold an active Certified Foodservice Professional (CFSP) designation from NAFEM.

Points for M Chef 1-Star Certification: 2 Points

Total Points Required: You must have at least 6 points of 9 available points to be eligible for the M Chef 1-Star Certification.

Question 4. Certification - ServSafe - 1 Point

You are ServSafe certified at a Manager Level with an active certificate from NRA.

Points for M Chef 1-Star Certification: 1 Point

Total Points Required: You must have at least 6 points of 9 available points to be eligible for the M Chef 1-Star Certification.
 

Question 5. Industry Experience - Rep Firm Chef for 24 Months - 2 Points

You have worked as a Rep Chef at a Rep Firm for at least 24 months.

Points for M Chef 1-Star Certification: 2 Points

Total Points Required: You must have at least 6 points of 9 available points to be eligible for the M Chef 1-Star Certification.


 

Question 6. Industry Memberships - One Chef Association - 1 Point

You have an active membership in at least one Chef Association (e.g. ACF).

Points for M Chef 1-Star Certification: 1 Point

Total Points Required: You must have at least 6 points of 9 available points to be eligible for the M Chef 1-Star Certification.
